We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Deputy Director of Student Recruitment, to lead the in-house team of recruitment and outreach officers.
Leading on the enquirer to application journey, the Deputy Director will work closely with the Head of Admissions, the Director of Communications and Marketing as well as many senior academics across the university. As a ‘people person’ leading processes with other teams is second nature, as is the detailed understanding of the pre application to conversion engagement journey. Understanding how to develop lead generation, and driving conversion across all channels, enables the development of a personalised customer centric touchpoint plan, and the creation of a unique Newman approach to conversion at all stages of the student journey.
- The role requires experience of delivering measurable student recruitment growth strategies and strategic recruitment plans.
- An ability to analyse and produce insights and data to inform and support the student journey
- The ability to motivate and manage a team of professionals, as well as working closely with other teams and departments to develop and showcase a customer-centric approach to all of our recruitment activities
There is a great opportunity to develop the planning, execution and evaluation of recruitment activities and platforms. As we expand our offer to partner schools and colleges, the post holder will be able to develop strong, collaborative, and professional relationships with a range of both internal and external stakeholders.
Informal enquiries about this opportunity are very welcome. Please contact Alison John, at a.j.john@staff.jenningssmith.com, to discuss the role further.
