Ralph DiFonzo Joins Team Adam
On August 18, 2006, Ralph A. DiFonzo, Jr., Director of Special Investigations, Jennings Smith Investigations, Inc. was selected to join Team Adam.
Conceptually patterned after the NTSB system of dispatching specialists to sites of serious transportation incidents, Team Adam sends trained, retired law enforcement officers to the sites of child abductions and child sexual exploitation cases.
About Team Adam
Team Adam specialists work as an adjunct to and in complete cooperation with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. In addition to assisting the victims' families, if and when required, Team Adam provides state-of-the-art communications and computer technology to the appropriate investigating agencies to assist in the timely distribution of critical information to other personnel and law enforcement agencies.
Team Adam consultants are retired law enforcement officers experienced in abducted and missing children cases. In addition to assisting law enforcement, Team Adam aid victims' families in obtaining appropriate advocacy and assistance.
Team Adam was named after the abducted and murdered son of NCMEC co-founders, John and Revé Walsh. The effort was strongly endorsed by family members whose children were abducted in 2002, as a means to provide valuable assistance in a time of dire need.
Funded by the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, Team Adam was launched on January 29th, 2003 by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
